Learn more about neurodivergence, especially Autism
Grow your neurodiversity-affirming parenting toolkit
Share experiences, strategies, and local resources
Build connections with parents on similar journeys
Help advocate for your child, and support them with self-advocacy
Understand the IDEA and advocate for your child with their IEP/504
Each meeting will begin with a presentation of that month’s topic and be followed by a discussion. Join us to learn and connect with parents on similar journeys.

Facilitator:
Canaan Bianchi is an Associate professor of Pediatric Occupational Therapy, a practicing Occupational Therapy Practitioner at Children at Play Annapolis, and an educational consultant. Canaan is the daughter of a twice-exceptional Autistic Mother and has multiple Neurodivergent children with ASD level 2, ADHD, Dyslexia, Speech and Language disorders, sensory processing disorders, and specific learning disorders. Canaan is diagnosed Autistic, has sensory processing disorder, receptive language disorder, and dyscalculia. Canaan is committed to supporting and advocating for the Neurodivergent community and their families, through Neurodivergent affirming education, and Inclusion for all.
